Interventional and structural cardiology

Biography

I did my medical training at Alfaisal University College of Medicine, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Following which, I spent a year at the University of Kentucky as a post-doctoral research fellow; later followed by additional three years of internal medicine training. Career wise, I am interested in interventional and structural cardiology, with the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC, being my next step professionally. On a personal level, I enjoy chess, video games, road trips and being outdoors, and also good food.

In His Words

Louisville is a great place to be. It is a medium size city with a big city feel. There is a lot to do around. It is surprisingly diverse and cosmopolitan. The food scene is outstanding; the parks are gorgeous; and the people are friendly. With a perfectly sized airport, you are never too far from anywhere, and are “almost” never too late to your flight.
