In concert with the UofL Day of Service on April 17, School of Medicine staff members volunteered to assist the Shipments Over Seas (SOS) program.  Volunteers removed expired parts from medical kits, allowing usable components to be shipped overseas or used in veterinary clinics and reducing medical waste entering landfills.
