Session 2A (1:30 pm to 2:30 pm)

Team Building

Presented by Deanna Philpott

Building an effective, cohesive team is extremely hard, but it’s also essential!  Real teamwork comes down to courage, persistence and commitment.  If all team members, not just the leader, are truly engaged and committed, high performance is more than possible.  When people come together and set aside their individual needs for “the good of the whole”, they can accomplish what might look impossible.  High performance teams establish specific team goals (i.e. targets for behavioral changes and organizational results) and identify appropriate measurements for reaching these goals.  Learn what dysfunctions all ‘high performance teams’ must overcome and what tools and techniques help  identify team issues, enhance individual and team communications skills, and create trust among all team members. There's nothing more important in your organization than 'high performance teams'...so what are you waiting for?
