Kimberly D. Moore
Unit Business Manager

Kimberly has worked for Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development since 1993. Kimberly is responsible for the office's accounting and business manager duties, handling registration at all programs, contacting speakers, contracting audio visual needs, preparing name badges, and syllabi. In addition, she tracks registrants, develops evaluations, processes honorarium, prepares transmittals for deposits, and assists with maintaining the efficient flow of the office.

Kimberly graduated from Spencerian College in 1989 with a two-year diploma in the Executive Administrative Program. She is married and has a son.

James Creg
Senior Manager, Curriculum Development

James joined Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development in 2009. He is responsible for assisting the office with planning, coordinating with internal and external offices concerning educational courses and data dissemination; creates webpages for the CME&PD office and CME programs, working closely with program directors; updates the CME&PD web site as necessary, including Grand Rounds and Calendar Events; develops online registration and certificates for CME programs; develops program brochures for CME customers to be used in promotions; coordinates  the development of online CME courses; solicits exhibitors for CME&PD courses and working closely with customers on grant solicitation.

James graduated from the University of Louisville with a B.A. in Biology. Prior to coming to Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development, he was the Manager of Sales and Operations for his family’s business.

Laura Landes
Research Grants Coordinator

Laura joined the Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development office in 2013 as a Research Grants Coordinator in a shared capacity with the offices of Undergraduate Medical Education and Graduate Medical Education. For CME&PD, Laura assists program directors and coordinators with finding and preparing grant applications to fund CME&PD events. She also seeks and applies for funding opportunities for collaborative projects among the three medical education offices.  Prior to joining the UofL School of Medicine, she worked in the Research Office in the UofL College of Education and Human Development for 3 years as a Program Coordinator Senior. Laura has an economics degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts; a master’s of education in Human Resource Education from the University of Louisville; and a master’s of arts in teaching degree in middle school education from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
