Bryson Sebastian, of Louisville, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2024 at the University of Louisville. He studies political science and history at the University of Louisville.

Bryson is a graduate of Butler Traditional High School, where he served as president of Kentucky Youth Assembly, Kentucky United Nations Assembly and the National Honor Society. He was captain of the football team, class secretary, FCA leader and a member of the American Legion Kentucky and Boys State Governor. He is the son of Eric and Jennifer Sebastian.

The McConnell scholarship is something I have been working for ever since I discovered the program. It will give me the opportunity to receive a premiere education in my hometown and expand my world views while growing around intelligent, talented and driven individuals.
