Tanner Morrow, of Auburn, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2023 at the University of Louisville where he studies Asian Studies, political science and Chinese.

High School
Tanner is a 2019 graduate from Logan County High School where he was president of Future Business Leaders of America and captain of his cross country and track teams. He also participated in Beta Club, Student Council and the academic team.
When I was initially informed about the McConnell Scholarship, I felt it fit my interests and needs in so many ways it was made for me. To actually receive the scholarship and all of the connections that come with it is a dream come true. I know that the resources I now have access to, both human and material will give me the best possible start as I open a new chapter in life.
