Through a variety of lectures, seminars, panel discussions and conferences, the McConnell Center brings influential political leaders, business executives and accomplished scholars to the University of Louisville where their insights and examples can serve our undergraduate McConnell Scholars, the campus community and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Public Lecture Series

During the academic school year (typically September through April), the McConnell Center hosts a monthly public lecture series. View past lectures »

These events are free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come basis. No tickets required.

Distinguished Speaker Series

Since 1993, more than 50 distinguished guests, including U.S. presidents, cabinet members, supreme court justices, and congressional and international leaders, have delivered talks at the University of Louisville as part of the McConnell Center's Distinguished Speaker Series.
