This evening, US Army officers participating in the McConnell Center’s Strategic Broadening Seminar will take a guided tour of the Frazier International History Museum. Officers will hear from Brig. General Josiah Bunting (US Army, ret.) as to why George C. Marshall’s leadership is worthy of emulation.
Hosted by the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville, the Strategic Broadening Seminar is a four-week intensive program intended to enhance the strategic thinking and leadership potential of some of the nation’s rising young military leaders. Drawing on the expertise of top UofL faculty and guest speakers from around the nation, 31 military officers will consider major questions in philosophy, ethics and constitutionalism, as well as recent developments within the Pacific Asia region. UofL is one of only two universities invited to direct such a strategic broadening seminar for the US Army in 2014.
