Five freshmen earn campus leadership positions
(Sept. 13, 2011) LOUISVILLE, Ky. - McConnell Scholars join Freshmen LEAD and Task Force Freshman
Five freshmen McConnell Scholars have earned leadership positions with two of the University of Louisville's first-year programs.
Paige Brewer,Cathrine Mountain,Sean Southard and Joel Ben Thomas were invited to participate in Freshmen LEAD, a yearlong program in which 60 students engage in bi-weekly leadership workshops and service projects.
Samantha Roneywas invited to participate in Task Force Freshman, a shadowing program for the student government association's executive officers. Roney will be an executive assistant to the services vice president.
