The McConnell Center hosted six scholars for a panel discussion on statesmanship and democracy at the 2011 American Political Science Association meeting in Seattle.

Rouven J. Steeves, of the U.S. Air Force Academy, chaired the panel on Sept. 3. Phillip G. Henderson, of Catholic University, was a discussant.
