- Abeer is a 2010 graduate of Johnson Central High School, where he earned valedictorian honors. He was president of
the Beta, science and social studies clubs and an All-American
Scholar. Additionally, Abeer won a National Mathematics Award. He was captain of his school's successful academic team and placed in the top 5 in social studies at the
KAAC Governor's Cup State Finals. He was also a member of the National
Tournament of Academic Excellence Quizbowl championship team.
