As part of its continuing effort to encourage an appreciation of the diversity of American political thought and to encourage a vibrant discourse on the major issues of today, the McConnell Center welcomes Adolph Reed, PhD, as a guest lecturer. Reed is a professor of political science at the University of Pennsylvania who specializes in African American and American politics. In his free and public McConnell Center talk, he will address "Rethinking the Left: Race and Politics in the Age of Obama."
