ESSAY CONTEST SPRING 2008 WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The 2008 McConnell Center Annual Essay Contest for Kentucky High School Students asked students to propose and defend a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution. After reviewing a number of outstanding entries, the contest selection committee has named a winner from the eight finalists and three special commendation awards.
Winners:
1st Place: Angela Woods, Carroll County High School
2nd Place: Nicole Pappe, Eastern High School
3rd Place: Hanyaun Shi, Paul Laurence Dunbar High School
