Professional development programs to Maryland, Kansas announced for KY teachers
Nov. 1, 2012 - The McConnell Center's Civic Education Program has announced two all-expenses-paid travel opportunities for Kentucky social studies teachers.
The following all-expense-paid conferences are co-sponsored by the McConnell Center and Liberty Fund, Inc.
Conference admission includes airfare, lodging, meals, entrance fees and related materials. Extensive pre-reading required. Each conference is limited to 15 participants.
Kentucky social studies teachers (grades K-12) are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to teachers who have not participated in the McConnell Center's Civic Education Program.
Conference applications are due Nov. 28, 2012 (download).
