McConnell Scholars participate in a unique, talented four-year leadership program designed to support students' personal, academic and career development. The program is reserved for 40 students (10 in each cohort class) who are representatives and ambassadors for the University of Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
In addition to tuition scholarship packages, Scholars take part of unique, tailored leadership lectures and seminars focusing on leadership through history, constitutionalism, literature and ideas.
McConnell Scholars come from all across Kentucky and represent a variety of academic disciplines at the University of Louisville. Whether studying political science, engineering, psychology, business or another degree field, Scholars excel inside and outside of the classroom.
