Ocey is a 2014 graduate of Southern High School, where he served as the senior class president, Future Educators Association Southern Chapter president, and student council president, in addition to also being the Key Club vice president and the superintendent student advisory chairperson. Ocey also was a member of the National Honors Society, Beta Club, and the Spanish club. Additionally, he served in The Lord’s Kitchen and was a Blake Elementary mentor.
