Law for the Common Man/Woman: What Every Person Should Know
Ever wished for a basic course explaining in understandable terms areas of law that affect ordinary people? If so, this is the course for you. You will gain a basic understanding of courts (civil and criminal), criminal law, constitutional law, business entities, contract law, torts, employment law, labor law and intellectual property. Think of this class as mini-law school, but without the mean professor depicted in movies!

This course will be an exciting trip through history to see how the law began in early England with the "common law" of King Henry II, then proceeded on to the creation of the United States with its three branches of government and the Constitution.
