Digital Photography Summer Camp
Presented in cooperation with Murphy's Camera
For ages 11-15.
Attend the most comprehensive digital photography camp in Louisville! Designed for young, aspiring photographers, this week-long camp offers professional tips and insights for taking the most dramatic and impactful images possible.
Each day features guest speakers and a focus on key photography skills including nature, portraiture, photojournalism and macro (close-up). Personal assessments will help each student develop his or her talents and tell engaging stories through photographs.
This unique camp is led by Neil Norman, education director for Murphy's Camera and one of the area's premier photography instructors. Camp ends with a show of students' work for parents to enjoy and recognition of "best of show."
Memory discs and other equipment will be provided. Students should bring a digital camera with a minimum resolution of 8 megapixels.
Class size is limited to 30 students 11-15 years of age.
