What is an RSS feed?
An RSS feed is a way for you to receive updates directly in a feed reader (ex. Bloglines). For example, the University Libraries post upcoming events in a feed. If you have an account in Bloglines you can get automatic updates about the events. The advantage of this is when you have multiple feeds listed in your feed reader. That way you can catch up on the news from all your favorite sites by checking one place.Instructions:
- Open a feed by clicking on one of the links above and copy the URL of the feed. (For Firefox, right-click on the link and choose "copy link location".)
- Open your feed reader.
- Choose the add-a-feed feature from your feed reader.
- Paste the URL into the add-a-feed form and submit.
