"This I Believe" essay features Kornhauser Health Sciences Library

"The Stillness of the Library" an audio essay by UofL medical school alumnus, Clint Morehead, MD, was featured last week on the radio feature, "This I Believe", heard locally on Bob Edwards' Weekend, broadcast by local NPR affiliate, WFPL.  While Dr. Morehead doesn't specifically mention the name Kornhauser Health Sciences Library, his description of the building certainly matches Kornhauser Library and we who work here frequently saw him in a study room practicing his "solitary ritual", studying for long hours each day.  It paid off;  Dr. Morehead is currently a palliative care physician in San Diego, California.

This I Believe, Inc., was founded in 2004 as an independent, not-for-profit organization that engages people of all ages  in writing, sharing, and discussing brief essays about the core values that guide their  lives.
