Liaison
Library Liaison Program
- Our collection specialists can:
- Introduce you to your collection and work with you to fine-tune it to meet your teaching and research needs.
- Work within the libraries as an advocate for your department as we assess and manage the libraries' collections and services.
- Enhance
your teaching work by connecting you with many of the libraries'
excellent, but less well known materials and collections.
- Our instructors can:
- Provide research instruction sessions specifically designed to meet your students' needs through the libraries' Information Literacy Program.
- Create
advanced courses for academic faculty development; offer private
one-on-one or department-wide brush-up sessions for new research
materials, tools and services; and serve as human conduits to the
ever-changing research and teaching collections in the libraries.
- Our reference librarians can:
- Provide individualized research support for projects on especially difficult topics via library Research Appointments.
- Visit
your office/department to provide university faculty and staff with
private, personalized training on the libraries' many research
databases and tools.
