Who We Are

Who manages the Library? An annual Library Management Agreement between University Hospital and University Libraries, University of Louisville governs the operation of the University Hospital Library. The Hospital Library purpose is to provide basic library services for the Hospital's healthcare community. This is done by making all resources of the Kornhauser Health Science Library accessible to all hospital personnel, including access to research databases and subscriptions to full-text serial subscriptions.

Where We Are

• From the University Hospital Lobby, take the elevator down to the basement level. Turn right (west). The library will be on your right just past Social Services. If you get to the corridor for the parking garage you have gone too far.
• From the Ambulatory Care Building (ACB), take the elevator down to the basement level. Turn left (east). The library will be on your left just past the corridor for the parking garage. If you get to Social Services you have gone too far.

Mon through Thurs 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Fri 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Healthcare personnel and students on rotation may contact Security 562-3518 for after hours access.   Hospital or University ID is required.
