It’s not Django, it’s the jejunum. All videos are online and freely accessible to the UofL community. Our Oscar lineup features medical, pediatric, surgical, nursing, and laboratory procedure and methods videos. Nominees include include:
New England Journal of Medicine: Short procedural videos in clinical medicine.
Acland’s Anatomy: The only anatomy video to use unpreserved cadaver anatomy. These films are produced and narrated by UofL’s Dr. Robert Acland. They are unparalled in detail, clarity and representation of the human body.
Access Medicine: Watch online Grand Rounds, molecular-level animations adapted from Goodman & Gilman's, procedural videos, and animations of procedures.
Access Surgery: Videos from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and animations based on Zollinger’s Atlas of Abdominal Operations, 9th ed. Narrated operations are chapterized for quick access to specific sections of the surgery. Watch an entire operation, skin-to-skin, for information about port placement, incisions, and closings, as well as the nuances of the operation itself.
Access Pediatrics: Offers a library of animations detailing pediatric procedures and exams, as well as providing general information on conditions and treatments. Additionally, AccessPediatrics will include a growing series of pediatric emergency medicine videos developed by Judith Tintinalli, the world-renowned author of Tintinalli’s Emergency Medicine, 7th ed.
Nursing Education in Video: Covers the fundamentals of nurse training and advanced topics in full length streaming video.
