Professor Lee Shai Weissbach, UofL Department of History, will deliver the 2013 Naamani Memorial Lecture. The lecture will include a slide presentation, questions from the audience and an opportunity to continue the conversation at a dessert reception. This lecture will explore the history of Jewish life in small-town America, focusing on its heyday in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The talk will compare key features of differently sized U.S. Jewish communities.
