Janet Lyon, Penn State associate professor of English; women’s studies; and science, technology and society. An editor of the Journal of Modern Literature, she studies modernism especially in Ireland, Great Britain and the British empire. Her works include “Manifestoes: Provocations of the Modern.” Lyon will end the conference with a 4:30 p.m. talk Feb. 23 on “Modernist Sociability” in Chao Auditorium, Ekstrom Library.
This lecture is part of the Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture since 1900.
