McConnell Chao Archives

The McConnell Chao Archives are designed to preserve and manage the papers of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell and former U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao.

The civics education gallery of the McConnell Chao Archives brings people in direct contact with archival material. With this engaging outreach program the McConnell Center and the university hope to create a greater awareness and appreciation for primary sources and their importance in documenting the past to understand the present.
