Carrels

Carrels are individual rooms designated for faculty and graduate students working on research projects, theses or dissertations, which require extensive use of the library resources. A limited number of research carrels have an ethernet connection. Carrel assignments are usually made for one academic year.

Eligibility: 1) U of L Faculty members engaged in research, or 2) U of L Graduate Students - information supplied on the carrel application must be confirmed by signature of the respective Department Chair.

Application forms are available in the Administrative office (Rm. 203) or online.

Keys for carrels are kept at the Circulation check-out desk. Open carrels are non-assigned.
