Louisville History Resources
Part of the mission of the University of Louisville Archives and Records Center is to document the history of the greater Louisville area. Our collections include the records of local and regional businesses; cultural, social, and political organizations; social service groups; politicians and other civic leaders; and other individuals of all kinds.
We have created lists of collections that relate to several topical areas (see the menu selections on the right side of this page), but you can also find our collections by searching the University Libraries catalog. Collections that have more detailed individual catalogs of their content (finding aids) are listed in our guide to finding aids.
In addition, many photographs, postcards, and maps of Louisville are available via the University of Louisville Digital Collections.
