The Thinker at the University of Louisville -- In Student Parody

Student Bill Walther played the part of The Thinker in a parody skit offered as part of the entertainment on a boat ride. The plot revolved around a "400-year old leprechaun who had to be taught the facts of life" who was, presumably, educated by The Thinker. The leprechaun was played by Charlie McDaniels, whose performance brought rave reviews from the Cardinal's reviewer. As the reviewer described it, McDaniels' "wisecracks...knocked the audience for a row of brick cottages."Cardinal, May 20, 1949.
