The Thinker

A Gallery of Images

The Thinker has been a resident of the University of Louisville's Belknap Campus since March, 1949. The generous gift of Arthur E. Hopkins, "our" Thinker was readily welcomed into campus life. Over the years, he has been the subject of portraits and served as a backdrop for the portraits of others; he has looked on campus events as an observer, and has been made a participant.
