Brief History of the Louisville Artists League
The Louisville Artists League was formed in 1910 to promote local artists through the public exhibition of their work. In 1920, it merged with the Louisville Art Association.
Brief Description of the Collection
The Louisville Artists League Records include a League constitution, a full-run of minutes, 1910-1920, membership lists, several exhibition catalogs (1920 is in conjunction with the Louisville Handicraft Guild), several treasurer’s reports, a few items of correspondence and an undated clipping.
