Biography

Victor K. Perry (ca. 1905-1996) taught physics at Central High School from the 1920s to the 1950s, as well as coached the football team. His wife Peggy worked for the Defense Mapping Agency. Victor was grandson of William H. Perry, Sr. for whom Louisville's Roosevelt-Perry Elementary School was named. The Perrys were prominent members of the African American community in Louisville.
