Program for Majors
The College of Arts & Sciences offers a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies which transcends the boundaries of inquiry permitted by single departments or disciplines. Through the Liberal Studies program, a student can create a multi-disciplinary degree program or independent major which will reflect the student's career goals and/or intellectual interests. Such programs have included but are not limited to the following themes: East Asian Languages and Cultures, Environmental Studies, Psychology and the Expressive Arts, Human Resources, Creative Writing: The African American Experience, Historic Preservation, and European Culture.
