Cooperative Internship (LBST 400)

Cooperative education and internships offer the opportunity to integrate academic course work with career experience. It provides an opportunity to test career choices in actual work setting and to increase your marketability upon graduation by developing a career-related work record.

To qualify for enrollment in a Cooperative Internship for credit, the Liberal Studies student must meet the following three requirements:

  • Have an approved Liberal Studies program on file (i.e. be an approved LBST major)
  • Attained a minimum of 60 credit hours with a minimum grade point average of 2.75
  • Present an acceptable internship Plan of Study
