Preparing for Graduation

Information for the Seniors in the Liberal Studies Program at The University of Louisville.

Admission

Admission to the Liberal Studies Program requires approval of your written proposal. Until Dr. Elpidorou approves your written proposal, you are a prospective major.If you want to graduate within the next semester or two and you have not yet submitted your proposal begin this process immediately!

Advising

Advising is available by appointment by contacting Matt Church, Liberal Studies Program advisor, at matthew.church@louisville.edu.

Planning to Graduate Soon?

Even if you plan to graduate several semesters from now, please be sure to meet with the Liberal Studies Advisor BEFORE your final semester to verify that you are on track to graduate.

Degree checks are available for approved majors only.

Application for Degree

Online applications for degree are available through ULink.

Verify that your personal info, including contact information, is current.

The deadline for degree applications will be early in your final semester. As a safeguard, it's a good idea to send an email, letting him know you've applied for degree.

During that final semester, you may be asked to

  1. complete a Student Opinion Survey
  2. schedule an informal exit interview with Dr. Andreas Elpidorou.
