Restore Base Funding
We’ve done our share. We’ve endured eleven budget cuts in eleven years. We’ve found ways to cut or avoid nearly $100 million in costs on our campus. Now it’s time for the legislature to step up. There’s a direct correlation between higher education and the economy of our state. For every dollar Kentucky spends on higher education, it’s returned several times over in the form of better paying jobs, a higher standard of living and healthier Kentuckians.
