Public interest career fair coming to Brandeis Sept. 1

The Sept. 1 public interest career fair will be in the Mosaic Lobby from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All Brandeis Law students are encouraged to come to the Office of Professional Development's public interest career fair 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 1 in the Mosaic Lobby.

The following organizations will be present:

Legal Aid Society
Louisville Bar Association
Doctors & Lawyers for Kids
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)
Indiana Department of Child Services

The informal fair is a chance for students to learn more about the organizations. Students can volunteer at the organizations to fulfill their 30-hour pro bono graduation requirement. Two of the organizations -- Legal Aid Society and the Indiana Department of Child Services -- also offer paid internships.
