Professor Rothstein to present at National Conference on Higher Ed Law and Policy

Brandeis School of Law Professor Laura Rothstein will present at the Stetson University College of Law's National Conference on Higher Education Law and Policy. This year's conference theme is "compliance" and she will take a holistic and common sense approach, versus a check-off list approach.

Professor Rothstein is giving two talks as part of this event:

February 13, as a panelist on a full-day program focusing on Constitutional issues. The program is titled, "Diversity Through Admissions: Common Sense Compliance." The panel will address what is currently permissible with respect to affirmative action and how to work toward diversity under current legal limitations.

February 14, a full-day presentation on current disability issues in higher education titled "Compassionate, Caring and Commonsense Compliance."The presentation will address mental health issues, technology access, support and service animals, and accommodations.
