Brandeis School of Law Professor Russell Weaver will publish two scholarly articles about fake news.
"Fake News in Historical Perspective” will be the lead article for the Southwestern Law Review’s Global Fake News and Defamation Symposium.
Another article, "The First Amendment, 'Fake News,' and 'Weaponized Defamation,'" will be published the Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law.
Weaver, a Distinguished University scholar, presented at the symposium in January 2018.
