Prof. Laura McNeal to present at Harvard Law School

Brandeis Law Professor Laura McNeal will present the findings of a national prosecuting attorney research study at Harvard Law School June 16, 2017.

McNeal conducted the research with Johanna Wald through the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice at Harvard Law School. 

They will present their findings at a conference titled Redefining the Role of the Prosecutor within the Community.

McNeal has worked with the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute since 2012, where she conducts national empirical legal studies that explore the intersection of law, education reform and school disciplinary policies (school-to-prison pipeline).

She teaches civil procedure, education law and employment discrimination courses. Her scholarly interests examine issues of access and equity in employment and education law, with a particular emphasis on issues of access and equity for individuals from traditionally marginalized populations.
