Prof. Jones presents at Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals conference

Brandeis Law Professor James Jones attended the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference in San Francisco July 17-20, 2017.
He met circuit judges, district judges, magistrate judges and bankruptcy judges. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch was also in attendance. Jones dined with judges from Nevada, Hawaii, Guam and the Commonwealth for the Northern Mariana Islands.
On July 19, he was a member of a panel on "Understanding and Managing Mental Health Issues in Federal Court." Jones is well-known for his mental health advocacy efforts.
