Brandeis students made blankets for Hosparus patients.

First-year Brandeis School of Law students kicked off the fall semester Aug. 12 with a community service day.

More than 65 students completed service projects for 11 different organizations, including including Active Heroes, Dare to Care Food Bank and Ronald McDonald House.

Some students, along with Prof. Ariana Levinson, volunteered at Hosparus, a nonprofit that provides end-of-life care in Kentucky and Indiana. The Brandeis group made blankets for some of the patients in the Hosparus facility.
