Law School Archives

The Law School Archives is a special collection devoted to the history of both the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and Jefferson School of Law.

The Archives consist of official publications from both schools, including, but not limited to: student publications, yearbooks, Senior Bulletins, course catalogs, graduation announcements and programs, class composites, and diplomas. Many of our physical materials are being digitized as part of preservation efforts, and will increasingly become available through our Law Library Digital Collection. Currently, the Law School Archives section of the Digital Collection includes Law Student Publications (Louisville Lawyer, Louisville Law Examiner, and the first version of The Brandeis Brief), Senior Bulletins, and a series of law school newsletters from World War II.

If you have a research request or would like to inquire about making a donation to the Law School Archives, please feel free to or telephone Marcus Walker, the Law School Archivist.
