Office of Professional Development

The Office of Professional Development's mission is to assist students with every aspect of their job search process while ensuring that their public service requirement is met. The office is dedicated to serving students, whether they are seeking part-time or full-time employment, finding a public service placement or learning about a legal or nontraditional career.

It offers general information sessions as well as individual counseling to students who are interested in developing their legal experience. Career information is provided to students through educational sessions, organizing meetings with experienced staff and offering various additional resources throughout the semester. There are also many opportunities for students to meet and talk with practitioners who represent a wide variety of legal careers.

Employers may post a job listing online at no charge or connect with students face-to-face, including on-campus interviews and resume collection. Employers may contact the office directly if they have clerking, intern or full-time opportunities for students or are interested in being a student mentor.
