How to Hire Law Students and Alumni
The Office of Professional Development Staff is committed to assisting law firms, government agencies, nonprofits and other legal-related employers with finding legal talent. Our goal is to tailor our services to fit your hiring needs.

There are three different ways to list a job with the Office of Professional Development for Brandeis School of Law students or alumni:
- By Phone: Call the Office of Professional Development at 502-852-6368 and we will gather the information over the phone to post the position.
- By Email: Send the job posting to Debra Reh, Career Services Coordinator, and she will post it for you on Symplicity, our online system.
- Online: Click here to create an account on Symplicity, the Brandeis online job bank, or to log onto your existing account.
The Office of Professional Development will review and approve all job postings before Brandeis Law students and alumni are able to apply for them to ensure they comply with ABA and university guidelines.
Each semester, the Office of Professional Development invites legal employers on campus to recruit law students for summer associate, law clerk, intern and entry-level attorney positions. Law firms, government agencies and a host of other legal organizations find on-campus recruiting to be the most practical way to recruit because they can interview a large number of talented students during a full- or half-day schedule.
The University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law values our alumni and employers who hire and support the law school. Accordingly, the law school charges no fees for on-campus recruiting and allows all employers 100-percent selection. The Office of Professional Development staff will coordinate on campus interview dates, starting in August for Fall Recruiting and February for Spring Recruiting, and gather application materials from students who meet your hiring criteria.
