32nd Annual Governor's Conference on the Environment
"Go for the Green"
Oct. 6-7, 2008
Lexington Convention Center
Make plans to attend the 32nd Annual Governor's Conference on the Environment at the Lexington Convention Center. Preconference workshops focusing on a variety of topics will be held in the afternoon of Oct. 6, and the conference will kick off with a reception and an awards dinner that evening hosted by Secretary Leonard Peters of the Energy and Environment Cabinet. Visit the Department for Environmental Protection’s Web site for more details.
The goal of this year's conference is for industries, communities, public servants and individuals to gather and share information that will benefit Kentucky's environmental future. The four areas of focus will be ensuring a green environment, implementing green practices, building green communities and building green lands.
Registration for the conference will end Sept. 29.
