Basics of Energy Management Training Module
The KEEPS Basics of Energy Management (BEM) training module is designed to help energy managers, facilities personnel and other energy team representatives understand terminology, technology and resources that relate to energy use and energy efficiency.
Welcome to the “Basics of Energy Management.” This training module was developed by the Kentucky Energy Efficiency Program for Schools (KEEPS), a program that helps Kentucky school districts and higher education institutions reduce energy consumption and operating expenses.
It is designed to help energy managers, facilities personnel and other energy team representatives understand terminology, technology and resources that relate to energy use and energy efficiency. It also illustrates how an effective energy management program benefits the environment AND your organization. The Basics of Energy Management training module can be navigated by using either a pointing device (a mouse) or with keystroke-based commands. More information about navigating the presentations in this training module is available.
