KEEPS partners with the Kentucky Chapter of the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project and the Kentucky School Plant Management Association (KSPMA) to educate teachers, students, plant managers and maintenance personnel on how their actions affect energy consumption. KEEPS also educates school board members, superintendents and school principals on the value of energy-saving programs and facility improvements.
Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center
KPPC is Kentucky's primary resource to help businesses, industries and other organizations develop environmentally sustainable, cost-saving solutions for improved efficiency. Based at the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering, KPPC provides technical information and assistance that is free, confidential and non-regulatory.

Kentucky's Department for Energy Development and Independence (DEDI) directs strategic planning to guide energy programs and initiatives for the state.

Kentucky School Plant Management Association
The Kentucky School Plant Management Association promotes and enhances the educational process through proper management practices related to school operations and maintenance. Membership includes superintendents, maintenance personnel, custodial supervisors, college and university personnel and others employed in school operations and maintenance.
National Energy Education Development Project
The National Energy Education Development Project promotes an energy-conscious and educated society by creating effective networks of students, educators, business, government and community leaders to design and deliver objective, multi-sided energy education programs.
