Project Description

Credit for Learning project (CFL) is an innovative partnership between the University of Louisville, the Cabinet for Families and Children, University of Kentucky, and Eastern Kentucky University to enhance the professional development of public child welfare workers in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This project offers new and tenured protection and permanency workers the opportunity to take graduate social work courses and earn graduate-level credit as non-degree graduate students through the University of Louisville/University of Kentucky. These courses fulfill the initial professional development requirements for new employees and ongoing professional development needs of tenured employees of the Cabinet for Families and Children.
