(L-R) Xiao Ma China, Emmerentie Oliphante South Africa , Hubert Jahl, Germany From Kent School Ministry of Civil Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China In 2003 Kent School initiated an agreement with the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MCA) of the Peoples Republic of China, the Ministry that has primary responsibility for social welfare for the PRC. This agreement provides for and has resulted in: very senior administrators from the Ministry coming to Kent School for the summer for training in the American Social Welfare System faculty from the Collages of Social Work that are part of the Ministry coming to Kent for training in the preparation of social work students in the PRC and professors and doctoral students from Kent School going to the PRC to lecture in the Collages of the MCA. Visiting Professors Kent School faculty have served as visiting lecturers and professors in Germany, Italy, Finland, Hungary, Poland, South Africa, Russia, Peoples republic of China, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, England, Netherlands, and Belize.
